Hey there!
Here is my entry, The Silver Star.
Partially inspired by the legendary Silver Tree of Valinor in Tolkien’s mythology, except here it’s just a tiny (LOL) edelweiss that can look like a star from down the mountain…

Gorgeous, @humanum. Great to see you in the challenge.
thanks, @sooz ツ
Looking forward to seeing the final collection of pieces for this one ツ
my entry for this month… though it’s such a loose interpretation of the prompt i don’t know if it qualifies for an entry, lol
I forgot to mention the reference I used;

This is gonna sound technical, but it’s true! Excellent presentation of balanced composition, color and light! ![]()
Thank you. Coming from you that means a lot

Here’s my entry, a parody of the “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” movie poster, an idea I kindly received from @Corentin.
I tried to add an organic texture for the optional challenge by using an image of the veins of a leaf (https://pixabay.com/fr/photos/feuille-macro-veines-4764359/) for the title parts, although I don’t know if it’s very visible.
My entry for this month’s Fabulous Flora. One of my favs, hollyhocks. The angled lighting was an ad lib challenge for me. The optional organic overlay is in the bricks under the window. I grabbed a brick wall image and imported it as an overlay, then used a little color on it. I enjoyed this month’s challenge! ![]()
Forgot to add… the whole painting was done with the Memileo 360 brushes.
@Elixiah, simply beautiful ~ love the play of light and contrast of the background and the delicate flowers, stunning ツ
@humanum Thank you! I’ve become obsessed with learning strong light and shadow interactions lately. I think it adds so much more to a painting. ![]()
this is so cool!
great idea
