Regarding the theme of the month, if I understand correctly, there is a proposal to depict “A piece of civilization engulfed by nature.”
So far, this is how it looks in my head:
We need to depict a place and location where a small area of a city or other place has been abandoned for some reason. For example, because people left this place of their own accord, or something happened that forced people to leave in any sense
And since this place has not been touched by people for a long time, nature has begun to flourish here. You can depict this idea in a realistic way or in a more fantasy-like way (the plants can be anything that, according to your idea, can grow and resemble plants in the usual sense). Perhaps it is another planet? Perhaps it is a place after an ecological disaster, and the plants have mutated? Or maybe the local nature and fauna have become very dangerous? Or it is a completely harmless abandoned forest glade that conveys coziness and comfort
It is important that the work reflects civilization with an emphasis on its abandonment and takeover by local nature. The object of civilization can be a house, transport, establishments, premises, anything where intelligent civilizations of any era and universe could live
There are no restrictions if the drawing conveys the idea xD
Congratulations @Famouzy. Looks like vast colour and value range are a perfect recipie for victory in this contest. Maybe that is why I decided not to use a colour at all for my entry, so I will be calm about next month (without actively discouraging to vote for me). Third place feels good. I hope you will help others with adhering to your chosen theme in discussion thread while not being as worried about it as I was this month.
When I first saw the entries with all the text I was a little overwhelmed, so delayed the vote, then (thanks to @sooz’s reminder) I returned and reading all, I enjoyed so much these explanations that had seemed “too much” to me at first, so I voted also for the beautiful descriptions
