@corentin That sounds like a grand fairy tale. I may look that one up to read it.
And - gulp - only 4 days left? I’d better get going!

@Cyborgnekosica This is going to be wonderful!
Can’t wait to see it!
@Corentin ditto, I hope more people would show up
Wonder why we aren’t seeing as many entries this month? I thought the subject of Fairytales and bedtime stories would be a big hit. ![]()
I thought that too… Maybe people are on vacation?
Hopefully we can still see a couple of last-minute entries though!

Hurry up, nearly 8 hours left!
Michelist
Well… I was happy to see several last minute entries! But, once again, it’s a struggle to select only 2. Maybe we could have ranked choice voting? LOL
How long is this month’s challenge? ![]()

Oh, 3 hours left!
But let’s try the challenge!

I just finished it.
Only the cover version of the book, but it was fun! ![]()
Oh, @Hocori_Yuki
I’m sorry to tell you the challenge closed 3 hours ago. The page you are posting on is not the challenge, it’s the discussion page for the challenge. But I love what you did!
You can vote for all the submissions here:
Monthly Art Challenge – POLL OPEN – April 2025 “Fairy Tales and Bedtime Stories” - #29 by sooz
Sorry for the confusion! ![]()
I know I’m late, but I just thought I’d post the results of the challenge here, so I understand that you are not able to participate!
Thank you! ![]()
Really amazing submissions this month. Another tough one to vote on.
I loved learning about fairytales I hadn’t heard of.
Wow, all of these are so good! Once again I lurk in the background and don’t actually contribute anything. I’m struggling really badly with my health and I keep feeling too tired and ill to get cracking on anything. Also, I now have fluid in one eye causing big blurred patches which makes it rather hard to focus on anything. (Yes, cue the violins please…
)
I’m gutted I missed this one as a wannabe illustrator this was right up my street. I was going to do The Ugly Duckling, the scene where he turns into a magestic swan and all the ducks are like ‘huh??’.
One day my peeps, I will manage to submit something!! ![]()
@Sketchy I’m so sorry to hear about your health challenges. If you end up illustrating the Ugly Duckling I would love to see it.
We miss you @Sketchy ! I hope you get feeling better very soon. ![]()
