I don’t know what’s going on in this thread any more… but I think I like it?!! ![]()
Oh I love this one!
Did I STARt something?![]()

A preview of something that made me experience 3 times the krita app freezing, 2 times force closing, and being very slow while creating this piece because there was no tool that could simplify these points. However, the easy solution I found is to create a shape, but don’t change the shape or fully create an irregular shape using a bezier curve but it will take a lot of time.

But honestly, it’s really fun to figure out how to implement the workflow of other vector-based applications into Krita even if it’s in a very different way.

You may know more about working with vectors than I do, but I have had CorelDraw crash many times because of too many vector nodes in the object. I sometimes use the auto-trace feature for grabbing jpg shapes in to my vector document. (I still do some logo design for my local graphics shop). Not sure if Krita has that feature. But anyway, it typically generates an object with jillions of unnecessary vector nodes that I had to reduce and simplify because it just caused too many crashes right in the middle of my work. I find it easier to work with vectors using the least amount of nodes possible. (I could probably use a pc system upgrade that would handle this better.)
Sorry if you are already aware of this, but I had to learn it the hard way. ![]()
You are right, and I agree. ![]()
This is common in the vector world and I also run into this annoying thing sometimes in inkscape (it’s my go-to app for vectors)
You got the ball rolling… ![]()

@Elixiah re: your post in the entries thread -
I’m not buying this modesty - We all know you could do this blindfolded… with your hands tied behind your back… while riding a rocking horse… ![]()

The SPACEball! ![]()

Haha!! I’m serious! The struggle is real! I have to look up a jillion references to spur my ideas

Sorry…Not Sorry! You’ll come up with something. In the meantime, I’m still thinking I need to add some illustrative elements to my design and make it more aesthetically pleasing. ![]()
sketch for the 2nd entry, I imagine it will be full of bones. Inspiration from my favorite artists
And trying to test my patience in making details

I think we’re all guilty of that from time to time.

I will continue this to fill the time on Saturday night, I drew it while listening to this

*btw i know the writing is hard to read cuz my handwriting is terrible but it’s going to say “beauty is passion, passion is art”
I’m hoping to have a little time to enter this month’s challenge! This is always a busy time of the year for me and my pet portraits. ![]()
