It’s fine if the image appears in the WIP thread as well as the challenge thread. Sometimes members post their finished work here to ask for final feedback before uploading their entry to the official challenge thread.
We ask that members refrain from posting the challenge submission in any of the artwork categories until voting is completed. That prevents the image from being pulled into the artwork gallery prematurely. This thread and the challenge thread are part of the Monthly Art Contest category which is not displayed in the gallery.

Whelp… I’ve got a break, so I thought I’d jump in here. This one I’m referencing from my own photo of a Cuban tree frog on my dining room window right after a rain.
@Bobrowsdower Oh no! I forgot you did a frog too! Except your frog really is a tropical frog and these dang Cuban frogs are just all over the place here in central Florida. Within a few hours after I wash windows, they are smearing them up again. LOL

Also, what brush did you use to get that spidering effect on the dark green blob in the front fo-hito? Is that a watercolor something?
No. I downloaded the image to my phone then screen grabbed it. I use a huion tablet and Dell laptop. I just use the standard brush set. Use a lot of blending and different pencil grades to help with texture.

Ya, the shack is still rather rough. It might be the toughest part. I want to figure out how to get the lighting just so.
