I’m not familiar with that animated show, but I googled it and I see the similarity with Little Muriel sitting in the rocking chair Lol

Lovely, @Wonder. The yellow foliage in autumn is my very favourite.

If this is your finished submission it needs to be added in the contest thread. This thread you’re in is the work-in-progress and discussion thread for the contest.

Awww got it thanks again

We haven’t added it as a hard and fast rule, but I think it’s important to keep the challenge art separate until the voting has been completed.

Hi !

I continue to work on my hipster pumpkin, despite that is a bit messy for now. but’s it’s ok I still handle it (you wouln’t want to see my layers management though, it’s probably the closest thing I have to an accountant’s nightmare).
Fortunately autumn has arrived where I live, so I’ve got some lovely references outside my window!

(And I added a few pumpkin paintings for no reason)

That’s cool, @lehko. I like how you add room on the canvas for notes and pumpkin practice.

I did a couple of pieces for a challenge on another website. Okay to include them in this one?

As long as the work falls within the rules, there’s no problem with that. You can see the rules in the opening post of the October challenge.

Read this in the rules:

I was in a hurry so I traced a pumpkin (from my own photo) as part of my underpainting sketch. If that disqualifies it I’m happy to skip it. (I couldn’t remember if that was an ‘okay’ amount as per the discussion last month about the ‘10% range’.)

I think you’re referring to this question:
