Congratulations to everyone who participated and submitted wonderful art. And now we are having monthly contest for the month of December. @Iruhas and @Mythmaker have come up with a interesting topic for this month.
Monthly Art Contest - December 2022 - Topic - A Shelter From The Cold
The task is to draw/paint a scene with a person or creature sheltering, or seeking shelter, from a cold environment. It could be imaginary or a real-life study.

Temporary hideout
A team of explorers assigned by their superiors to explore an abandoned city. Long story short, their search had to be postponed as it was getting late and it started snowing that night. They took shelter in an old and broken building and started a fire from the materials they found there, eventually staying overnight until the next day.
A boy (lets call him Johnson) saves his crush who fell into a frozen lake. Now their both wet, cold and in need of shelter. Good thing Johnson has good survival skills from all the camping trips as a boy scout. He starts a fire and Alice (his crush) rests on his shoulders.
Mixing oldtime survival skills with newer, low-tech equipment brings light and comfort to the snowhut. That’s much appreciated during the Yukon’s 24 hours of darkness in December.
my second entry: Cats and flood
Floods and storms is the coldest thing in the tropics. Many stray cats were washed away by the flood, jumping over the debris looking for a safe place, no need to be warm even a dry place for them is very enough.
my 3rd entry: Warmth of Togetherness
The cats I pictured in entry 2 were in the midst of the flood, now they are all grown up and safe in their rooms. Happy under blankets and on warm beds they share horror stories in the cold of Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
Happy holidays
The voting will be open till 2022-12-31T00:00:00Z. You can choose any two from the list. the winner will have the chance to get featured. Earn a badge of contest winner and also to decide the next topic for the contest.
This is the last contest for this year let us hope that we can continue this traditional contest for years to come.

Congratulation to everyone who participated. I would request @edgarej to make a new topic with the winning entry so that i can feature it. Also please suggest a new topic for next month.
