Really good ![]()
Very good rendered. I like a lot how you have mixed the water concept with the rocks.
Rocks sketch but hey! i want to be in this thread since i am rock lover. RGBA brushes used here mainly.
@ventis That should get first place in the âcutenessâ category ![]()
Oh, quick clarification. Does the work have to be started for the contest specifically, or can I use one from a while ago thatâs on my site already and enter that?
@DaveyJJ If you created it from scratch using Krita softwareâŚI think that you are good to go!

thank you
My first entry for Feb 2023 contest~
I love to do portraits and mostly with lines and monochromatic colours.
This contest kind of gave me an opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and try different things with textures. I am a newbie to Krita⌠still figuring out thingsâŚso this contest also gives me an opportunity to try out brushes in an indepth manner and in a constructive way.
Thanks to awesome community here on the forumâŚthe time I spend here keeps me motivated and inspired to contribute more!
In this work I mostly used @Deevad BrushesâŚ
Thank you, David Revoy for your awesome brushes and also your contribution for the development of softwareâŚlast but not least, your youtube videos are just so edutaining!!!

I started a discussion on this a while ago, I donât think any conclusion was reached though: Contest format and rules discussion
Thanks! From my own reading it seems as long as itâs created in Krita, itâs good to enter, as nothing seems to indicate otherwise.
@RamonM those RGBA brushes are fun to use!
I have opened that discussion now. Anyone having any idea or suggestion please respond in that thread.
Hi all! Finally made my entry. I made this one with Mr. Deevad new brushes too. Beautiful collection! Here it is:
Great work, everyone!
Hi ![]()
I managed to finish a painting without spreading myself too thin for once
Oh, and I thought about doing a timelapse, but for some reason the file is almost 50GB⌠![]()
Iâm going to try to edit it though.
I would think itâs ok to use an older piece if it matched the monthâs topic. Things can come up and we just donât get around to the current monthâs topic. That said⌠I also think one of the reasons we do these contests is to develop skill and practice on subjects we normally wouldnât paint. I know for myself, I wonât get out of my comfort zone unless itâs a challenge like this. After I start it though, then Iâm glad I did because I always learn something new. ![]()
