Is it possible to add information about the monthly funding krita get and how the funding is spend?
This is the current announcement for using the funds.
I mean that maybe include information in the monthly update draft when asking for donation. Since we only get information about developer quitting in the previous monthly update, it is nice to know how many developer is still working on Krita and how much support they can get.
Ways to Help Krita
Krita is Free and Open Source Software developed by an international team of sponsored developers and volunteer contributors. That means anyone can help make Krita better!
Support Krita financially by making a one-time or monthly monetary donation. Or donate your time and Get Involved with testing, development, translation, documentation, and more. Last but not least, you can spread the word! Share your Krita artworks, resources, and tips with others, and show the world what Krita can do.
One way to get an insight into what’s being worked on is by signing up for the mailing list (see here). Every week there are development meeting notes shared, which provide some project stats and contain updates and plans of core developers.
Another measure of activity is to look at the merge requests paying attention to the updates (there are many stale MRs). This is the best way to see the activity of outside contributors.
Thank you for being kind and responding to that.
However it is a edit suggestion about the coming monthly update that is post on Request for Krita-Promo Monthly Update volunteers - #4 by h47388304
My respond is split to a new topic ![]()
Hi @h47388304
I moved your comment out of that thread as that one is specifically asking for volunteers to join the team so that the monthly updates can continue to be produced.
So is it possible to split freyalupen’s post and merge my comment?
The other thread is a request for volunteers because there is too much work for the number of people currently taking it on (which I think might be just one person now).
Your post is asking the volunteer(s) to add a new category to the update – to essentially add to the workload. That’s a completely different ask therefore a separate thread.
