In the case that you are speaking about this:
Get the current Krita Next nightlies, these allow on canvas text editing and that makes it easy to write around or even in objects on canvas. Here you can see how the first text looks in the editor after I wrote it on canvas:
Additionally, there should come something that I know under the name “flow-text” or “floating-text” (translated from German, may be named differently in English), which will, when enabled, automatically draw your text around the objects on the layer you are on. I even saw a demonstration of it, but I’m currently not able to locate/identify where to enable it, and I can not say if it is already implemented or if that only was a demonstrator, but you should be able to find it in @wolthera’s Text Tool Thread.
