Unfortunately it is not possible to select multiple images at once when using reference images,when opening them, or am I doing something wrong? You cannot select them with Ctrl or shift.
Is there something?

I can’t speak to every version of Krita, but I know on my Windows 10 PC I can select multiple images in a folder (not in Krita’s environment, but in windows) and then drag them over the Krita Window. Dropping the images will trigger a Krita Prompt that asks how you’d like to handle the addition of the images. Among the choices will be the option to add them as reference images, which will add each of the selected images as reference images, all at once.

you can select this tool and you open the window where you have the references and can select MULTIPLE images at once? in which option can you set this? I have to click individually
Your question was about opening more than one reference image and how to select more than one to open them at the same time.
And the answer given was: select the images you want to open as reference to drag this selection over your canvas where you need to drop it. Then Krita offers you a dialog box where you can decide how Krita should handle this bunch of dropped files, and the option to open the dropped files as reference images is one of the options offered. It is therefore also said that this is not possible with Krita’s reference tool.
This means that you have to select the images you want to open as reference images in Krita in your Windows Explorer. Then grab the selected images with the mouse and move them over the canvas to drop them on the canvas, now select to open them as references and that’s it, Krita will now open them as references.
By the way, it’s always a good idea to write the texts in your native language and then have them translated by a translation software like Bing Translator, Google Translate or DeepL.com if you have difficulties with English, and to the translation you should always add the original text in your native language. This way we can translate unclear passages again with other programs and native speakers will understand better what you want.
