Description of the issue (you can include screenshots):
When I start drawing, it works for a few seconds, but especially when I zoom in, it stops recognizing the commands, my canvas crashes. Curiously, it only works again if I do something outside the canvas, like switching the brush, for example. However, this only happens with my tablet in Krita, the problem doesn’t occur when I use a mouse or other software. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the software, tried other versions, and uninstalled the driver for my Wacom tablet, but nothing works. I haven’t used my tablet or Krita in a few weeks, but before it always worked fine.
Have you done any recent Windows updates? I use Windows 10 and in an update they enabled “Windows Ink”, which caused me a lot of instabilities. See this thread for more details.
Yes, it started behaving like this after I updated my Windows, though I’m not sure if that’s the cause. And even after disabling Windows Ink, the problem persists
See if it improves by disabling these options in Windows. Unfortunately, the system doesn’t differentiate well between a tablet and a graphics tablet (and Wacom doesn’t help much in this regard either…).
I’m new to the community and can’t send videos of what’s happening, so here is a more detailed description of the issue:
The functions worked well before I used the Zoom tool.
After zooming, the canvas drawing area freezes, preventing me from drawing, panning, or use zoom.
All functions outside the canvas continue to work, and the canvas only “returns to normal” if I interact with something outside of it, like clicking or switching the pencil tool.
After doing this, the canvas unfreezes, allowing me to draw again until I use the zoom tool again, restarting the cycle.
