i made a custom brush that has no pressure modifiers in size nor in opacity yet it still lags.
i think it has to do with the oval shape of the brush

It’s probably not the shape (unless the image for the brush tip is huge). It’s more likely something else, like the spacing.
Would help to see all the other brush settings.
