Beautiful, and remarkably detailed. I take it birds are more than just an idle interest for you?
Fantastic, long time no post!
Thank you! I like to read and learn about nature, animals and their behavior generally. Early this year I saw a lot of small and interesting birds in my garden and I decided to look up interesting birds on Google and learn about them. That’s why I mainly painted birds for almost a year.
I love animals.
Thank you so much! Yes, I am a bit silent here nowadays, I had some gigs that required different drawing and photomanipulation tools and I stayed in them for painting. For example the following images were created in Autodesk Sketchbook and Photoshop.
I like to jump between tools and do not rely on one software too much. The same with my brushes and technique.
Those are beautiful. Just glad you are ok, never can tell these days. You turned into Aaron Blaise.
P.S. check out my Mr. Kitty picture.
Thank you very much! It was the nicest compliment ever about my art.
Your Mr. Kitty picture is brilliant, I like the fur texture and those eyes! Bravo!
My favorite bird paintings in Krita in 2020
Mine too. They are so beautiful. You did a fantastic job.
Thank you! I’m planning to continue the bird series with dynamic actions with birds.
Yeah, birds are so fascinating, aren’t they. I have recently painted a buzzard, my first bird with Krita. That painting was my smoothest painting experience so far.
Hi, I’m new here.
I love drawing birds too! Your attention to detail and the colors are phenomenal! I thought these were photos at first…especially the shoebill! Love them all.
May I ask, what is the grey/white bird on the bottom right quadrant?
Hello, thank you! That’s a white peafowl on the right bottom.
Ohh, thank you for replying!
Beautiful job with these! I also love your feline paintings!
