Hi, I want to be testing more in depth plugins . Can you help me?
I am in Kubuntu 20.04 and Krita 5.1.3 and my settings are like this. Why? i don’t know. Any feedback is welcome
I load the plugins like Timer Watch and it creates thefolder Pykrita with the content but i can’t see loaded in the Python Plugin Manager . Why?
Maybe i have broken something between versions? I have deleted the kritarc in .config folder and is the same.
Restarting is not working either.
I have tested plugins like Timer Watch, Pgment O, Photobash, Kanvas buddy and more so i don’t know what am i doing wrong.
I have found this maybe it helps?
I have tried to delete (making a back up of Krita user settings Folder) all files connected but the behavior is the same. duplicated entries in Python plugin manager. Weird and confusing if you load several plugins.
And i can’t load plugins. in krita 5.1.3
I dont think there is much to be done beyond jumping into another version which is of no help. but for what I can say when I had that error is that it works you just have to activate both entries with the same name to work and then the rest goes as normal. but it is super weird to look at for sure.
Y think is weird but is more weird that now i can’t load plugins anymore. Maybe am i doing something wrong? it makes me feel like a newbie
I will be trying more and more ideas as i receive feedback
Is your Resource Folder location set to something other than the default? There seems to be a bug there where the plugins aren’t loaded.
Though that doesn’t explain why you have double entries… I note that the Ten Brushes and Ten Scripts entries have differing descriptions, where the first one is current and the second is from before 5.0.
yes @freyalupen i have a different location for 4.4.3 and 5.x (appimages or Zipped versions) that way i can test if there are regressions or improvements in performance, usability …etc. Maybe my HD is full of data of different releases and i need a good restart. I am going to test if what you say is the solution for double entries in Kubuntu and win 10.
