My ways of drawing people

These are my styles of when drawing people. I don’t wanna draw the same style every single time. I would to explore new ways. What about you? Do you have multiple art styles or just stick with one style?

Any style I have is a complete accident and not something I look for. I try different methods all the time, particularly different ways of starting an image and they all produce different results.

I never think about what kind of art style I’m going to use when I draw, so I always learn something new while making new works,

Unless...

someone asks me to draw something (especially if they pay me for it) :kiki_upside_down:.

I don’t worry about art style, I just draw what interests me and I always need references.

@Erisian Yes, I agree. It’s really good to explore new different ways. The way how we draw/paint is our artistic style. And I am sure those accident styles, you mentioned, are more exciting to get. I know how it feels🤭.

@CrazyCatBird Same here. I like to draw whatever I find interested in. Exploring what we like or not, how to add a technique, stuffs like these come along with us in our long journey. These will become our own artistic styles. And yes taking references is like a life hack. :sparkles:

That’s great actually not to limit your ability. @Iruhas
I used to think I should make this/ that style even before actual drawing. I was like I only wanted to draw this anime style. It made me art blocked all the time and it was never me.
After breaking that boundary, I become to realize, when drawing people, I love to draw those styles as I posted. Maybe there will be more ways I like to draw. I will explore slowly. I believe how I draw/paint is my style. :four_leaf_clover:
