Need a script to perform simple repetitive actions

I am looking for something that will make my repetitions in Krita much easier and quicker. Is there any FREE Krrita plugins that AFTER you have SELECTED a PART or PARTS of an image that will do the following all in 1 click…

  • Create a Group

  • Create a new paint layer with the selected part or parts of the image

  • Add this new layer to the newly created Group

Do you know of any?

Hey, maybe you need to describe it with some pictures. Do you want all these parts to be flattened to one layer? I know you can do CTRL+SHIFT+C to copy a projection, meaning copy selected areas flattened. Then you can simply paste it which will create a new layer and create a group over that layer with CTRL+G. That’s two clicks.

You can also write your own script and assign it to a single key with Ten Scripts, but not sure if you’re feeling that adventurous.

I want it to do exactly what I said in my post, there really is no other way to describe it. The only part I left out or actually or I forgot to say is for it to use only 1 Button as well Click that 1 button and it does everything I said.

Anyone???

Do you want to copy the selected part to a new layer or cut it (erase from the original layer) and put it on a new one?

Copy the selected part to a New layer, then put that New Layer in a Group.

Basically, this will ALL make coloring a black-and-white image for me easier.

There are many ways of colouring images using krita so if you show a screenshot of your image, with annotations and examples, someone may be able to offer advice as an alternative to what you’re proposing with your existing method (whatever it may be) and your ‘1-click’ proposal.

Not that I know of and it is a very particular requirement.
Somebody here is probably capable of writing such a script so I suggest that you change the topic title to be more specific, such as “Need a script to perform simple repetitive actions”.
