My 3d reference

The clothed character. The head looks full shade while the rest of the body looks flat or color book like. I would just bring the effect you used on the face for the rest of that side of their body. If you meant something else, I cannot be of help, but only encourage you to keep working. I don’t think your clothed character looks bad at all.

THX man ! I want to learn to draw but it’s harder than I thought

ı trying already

Take your time. Art takes practice and lots of it.
I see that you have a lot of situations in your mind that you want to place Sakura into and that’s cool.
Using a 3D model for pose reference is okay, but relying on it for anatomy isn’t much of a good idea.
Just look up some basic anime style anatomy lessons first. I suggest looking up tutorial videos by Jazza, MikeyMegaMega, Sycra and Mark Crilley… Or any of those other drawing teachers who put their stuff up on YouTube.

thank you for tips man !

well if your using 3D as reference you have to consider that there is no humanly natural bending on 3D models like in real life. only on film production rigs and even those are “fake” (there is a sygraph paper on it but I think that type of distortion has not come out yet). to do realistic bending you need to do some crazy simulations which obviously you don’t have there.

I say this because your tracing the character and you can notice the lack of a muscle pass over the body.

reference to a natural human bending on a rig just so you can see what I mean

What I mean is trust the direction of the bone don’t trust the “intersections” nor its “volume preservation”. you should think about muscles over your reference there and increase readability.

Drawing is not realistic to the point where it is a direct translation of a reality, usually you increase features for readability considering your camera angle.
When they say “this is my style”, what they are saying is just I favor these type of real features and express them this way. So if you have your knee bent per example you can make it round or more pointy or whatever.

2D is inconsistent on a turn around, that is why 3D has a 3D values regardless on whatever angle. You kinda have to still fake it from that reference.
