Hi There,
I am new to digital sketching and brand new to Krita. I am using XP-Pen Pro to learn how to draw. I could not find any basic tutorials on the Krita Site which will help me in a step-by-step manner. Or perhaps start with an unfinished existing drawing that I can work with. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
For the faces you can use any tutorial. Personally I like Loomis’ books. They are old but still great. ![]()
@CelticCoco Has some tutorials that teach you about the Krita interface.

Here’s a good site that has tutorials on faces:
Scroll down to Video Lesson: “Drawing a Woman’s Portrait”… And also read this section:
“Here are some tips for drawing portraits”

Here is another one , more for quick angle - but a really approciable style.
I combine this with loomis depending on what I draw.

I personally like David Reroy’s tutorials, they explain quite in detail the compositing process
