New art challenge/game?

I had an idea, but I don’t know if it would take with others. It’s a creativity challenge using “ink blots”. Well… not with real ink, but using a website:

On this site, people contribute their creations, little demonstrations as how they are called, created with the Wolfram language. From what I quickly learned, it’s programming… using maths? (And that sounds cursed to me.)

And someone there, by the name of Andy Ross, contributed to a cool little demonstration that can create random polygons, immitating the Rorschach test. By the look of the license, we can use it if we give credits, which is totally understandable.

That creativity challenge could work just like the monthly art challenge, in a way that there could be a vote at the end of a given time, and the winner would create a new ink blot using the demonstration.

So, good Idea, or not?

Using inkblots is definitely fun. Did you see the ones we did last Halloween?

Participants created lots of inkblots (mostly real ones): Halloween Art Party 2023: Inkpocalypse! 👻

Then we did some ghost designs based on the ones we liked: Captured Spirit Containment Area: Proceed With Caution! ☢
