NEW video. Gradient Brushes in Krita 5

I never made the connection you could utilize gradients with the rgba brush tips! Excellent video

I am glad you like it. It would be cool to see new not realistic brushes but expressive brushes created with this technique.

Only recently i started to understand a bit more of the gradient brush. Such fun tool, and handy too. Just thinking all different combinations of tools you can use to lay color makes someones head hurt haha

Something im still unclear: is it possible to save a particular gradient brush, with a particular gradient? Or the gradient resets every time?

Unfortunately, there’s currently no way to save the gradient as part of the brush. It’s treated like the foreground or background color, so the brush just uses whatever the currently selected gradient is.
