Here’s another aviation painting I just completed. This time an F-5N from Key West NAS part of the VFC-111 squadron Sundowners right after departure to the west flying just south of Key West. Thanks to Jose M. Ramos from Ramos Aviation for providing the reference image for this painting.
Great Work!
Thank you, Sir.
That’s some real quality work! Seeing the thumbnail of the post I honestly thought you posted a photo
Fantastic portfolio.
It looks like a photo, you rendered it really good. For me a bit to less brushwork and personality to see, but i think this was not your goal and it is completely fine to do such realistic work. I hope my short critique was okay for you
The brushwork is there on the background, land and water, and all the details on the airplane, but for the airplane paint job I tend to use a bit more of the airbrush tool as it renders more realistic transitions. The beauty of digital painting relies on being able to mix different tools that can’t be done in a traditional painting. Appreciate your input. Cheers.
great work
