I should have used the InkP 06 Dip Pen Diluted brush from the beginning because it really speeds up the process, It took less than 2 hours to complete.

Yes please! Many people post their self-portraits later than Nov 1, so you can still totally join! I typically post my self-portraits a day or two later than Nov 1. This is the first year I finished it on Nov 1.

I never get tired of seeing the texture and detail of each of your brushstrokes in all of your works. I am so amazed by your painting technique.

It always makes me think about how I can reach your level. And at the same time I realize there are still many things I have to learn and practice.

I am flattered! Just do it the same way I did… watching tutorials and youtube videos. Watch digital speed painting vids on youtube. It helps to see where to start. The best thing I’ve found to improve your painting technique is to do quick 30 min or less paintings. @edgarej turned me onto a facebook page called Daily Spitpaint that provides new prompts every day for 30 min paintings/drawings. I don’t participate as much as I used to, but you’ll be amazed at how fast it will improve your technique and develop your own style! I am still in awe of the technique and style of @Gurkirat_Singh , one of our members here!!
