🤓 on uploading stuff to the forums

Hey all you Krita warriors!
Open question on uploading stuff to the forums;

Since the forum understandably limits uploads to 3 MB max, I want to share some video snippets and Reel mock-ups. What’s the best way to present videos (a few in this case) here? Should I upload to YouTube and embed the link? Does that work well?
Hope you’re all having a great day!
Best,
/Carl

Yup, I’ve seen members do that (upload to a service such as YouTube, then put the link here in the forum.)

For videos, depending on where you upload them (like YouTube for example) you can get a share link and the forum will show them in an embedded player if you put that link in it’s own line in a post.

You can also use Vimeo if you prefer it.
Imgur is blocked in the UK because they won’t implement the UK’s age verification requirements.

You can also use Google Drive for videos, if you have an account with them, the video will then be shown in the window where you usually download brushes and bundles from.
This way they won’t show up on the video platforms accidentally.

Uploading to a third-party site and embedding the link is usually the smoothest way to go. It keeps the forum running fast while letting you share high-quality snippets without hitting those tight storage limits. Most people find that links or external players work much better for video content.
