This month’s Best of Krita-Artists – Nomination is coming to an end, and we have a lot of great images waiting for their nominator, they want to compete too, give yourselves a nudge and the then nominees a chance!
Put your favorite picture in the hat and let the users draw, and who knows, maybe you’ve nominated the winner!
There’s nothing to say thank you for yet, after all, someone still has to nominate you and then being voted for is also part of it. But if there’s not much more going on with further nominations, then we’ll have very little choice this month and could actually skip the voting. If I hadn’t nominated a picture as well, then there really wouldn’t be any need to vote, as everyone would be “on the podium” anyway.
And so:
Slowly but surely, I think we should perhaps allow every user to nominate two or three pictures per month, so that with the sheer mass of nominating users we at least have something like a selection decision at the end.
Or a tier system. If 10 days before the end of the nomination process less than 10 pictures have been nominated, then the nominators are allowed to nominate a second picture, and if five or three days before the end no 10 pictures have been nominated, then a third vote is allowed. The problem is that it is probably not possible to adjust an ongoing vote.
