Option for thinner document tabs

What I want
I want an option to make the document tabs slimmer. I suggest having a checkbox named “Touch-friendly tabs” or “Large tabs”, and if unchecked, it will switch to thinner tabs! Like in this picture:

How I want to use it
I want to use it the same way as before, but less intrusive. I tend to have my “Multiple Document Mode” set to “Subwindows” because I think the tabs are currently too big and eyecatching, even though I prefer tabs to windows.

I would like to have the current large tabs if I’m using my Surface Tablet for instance, but when working on my desktop computer I would love them smaller! Maybe even show no tabs at all if there is only one document open!

Yeah, that would be good. Current tabs take too much space. Maybe they should also implement UI resizing like Blender does.

Yeah, that would be a nice implementation! :smile: I also really like how one can set the Resolution Scale in Blender!
