I heard somewhere that quantity, not quality, is key in learning painting and drawing foundamentals. So I decided to schedule at least one session each day to work on something within my comfort zone that I could add to my portfolio to feel like I was progressing, like a still life. Regular projects have a limit on the number of sessions I can dedicate to them, unlike large projects that I work on until the end. Fortunately, this one took me about five sessions, while the set limit was seven, when I felt I was done. I am feeling quite good with fruits and vegetables. I wonder what to chose next, maybe insects?
