Hi everyone and happy 2026 to all of you! 
This big artwork took me several days to finish, but I gave it my all and I’m pretty much satisfied 
it’s my very first art of the year. It’s my characters from my fantasy world Endyrien, protecting their village from a very dangerous enemy 
I love the animal theme and it’s kinda new to me since I mostly paint people… but yeah it was fun. There were many times when I sort of gave up I have to admit, but in the end I told myself it was going to turn out okay, so I pushed through. Like these critters do in battle, they don’t give up!
Also, 76 layers! 
And a lot of brushwork… and color correction

Great composition. Thanks for not giving up on this one, it’s a gem. Especially the squirrel entering rage with his duel wielding axes.
