A year ago I discovered Krita and Huion products and I immediately fell in love. When I heard about this contest, I was excited about the challenge of representing the mascots of the brands that have been my companions during the difficult times of the pandemic.
The great challenge of representing two mascots with unique styles and very different personalities in a single design is exciting and frightening at the same time, but I believe that in these differences there is a very interesting chemistry to be explored.
In this art, I wanted to represent an intermediate stage in the journey of Leon and Kiki, who are passing through a forest during the fall and decide to record their memories together in the leaves that are falling and being blown away by the wind.
Ephemerality, freedom and unity were some of the concepts that guided the development of this art. Hope you like it!
