A function similar to Photoshop’s “Reveal All” would be useful. It expands the canvas to show all of the content in the entire image. Right now it seems there is only the possibility to trim the canvas, not expand them? Strange.
When crop tool is selected, in tool options you can tick “grow” to be able to make the canvas bigger. (If that’s what you’re looking for.)

‘Resize to Image Content’ would be a nice addition to the available operations along with a few other possibilities.

There is ‘Trim to Current Layer’ which will grow the canvas to fit the current layer content but will remove content if the layer has smaller content than the current image size.
