It’s a very pretty painting! : ) At first I thought that the background and glow was a bit to much and that maybe it would have been better if it had like a more neutral more portraity background. But opening it up big I think the intensity it adds or suspends i like and it also adds like something more to it, It’s like it becomes art in another way than that portraits are art. The artistic freedom there takes something more to the picture. If that makes sense?

Thanks for your handy tips. I’ll have to try it out. I just finished my first painting with Krita. Actually, it is one of my first digital portraits i finished. But I don’t know how I should prepare it best so I can post it.
If you look around you will notice most people don’t post giant images, usually in the low 2000 / 1000 pixel range. I cant wait to see what you have done. Everyone here is very helpful so don’t be afraid to ask questions.

Ok. I’ll keep that in mind. I need to figure out lot of things. I don’t know much about all the stuff. I think even my hardware is not the best. I have a thinkpad x1 6th gen. But I think it is not very well suited for Krita and the like. It always runs very hot when I use it for painting.

Thank you for your appreciation … as to whether there is any topic that introduces new users to the use of krita, the truth is that I have not noticed, but if you want to start a topic asking, for advice on what you want to learn and so you can get some support or tuturial.
