Potential animation timeline glitch

I like keeping my frames while animating very zoomed in, but ever since the latest update i noticed an issue- whenever i try to move a frame/copy a frame/add a frame something weird happens to the timeline

^here’s what it looks like before i move the selected frame

^ and here is after- it’s jumped forward by many frames and in order to get back to where i was i have to scroll all the way back over

after trying it out with some other files, i realize that krita may just be automatically zooming out now- the longer the animation, the smaller one’s frames become

if this is an intentional feature, i wonder is there any way i can remove it? because as seen in my examples it’s not working as intended.

and if this does happen to be a bug, should i find a way to report it or should i see if i can work it out?

It’s a relatively new option in Settings → Configure Krita → General → Animation
I don’t like it so I disable it.

I think it does work as intended within the possible range of zoom values but I haven’t examined its behaviour in detail.

oh ok thank you!!!
