Problem of brush sizes and the pressure

Hello, I have installed Krita and I’m experiencing an issue with my brushes. The ones that are supposed to be thin at the beginning or end have a uniform size. Can anyone help me resolve this?

I have already checked the brush settings and made sure they are properly configured. I have tried different brushes as well, but the issue persists. By the way, I’m using the latest version of Krita. I downloaded it to see if it would mak

e a difference, but unfortunately, the issue with the brush sizes persists. And I use a stilet and a tablet to draw so its not cause of the click and the pressure accorded to the stilet.

If anyone has encountered a similar problem or has any suggestions on how to fix this, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you in advance!

Hi @Bulle - Welcome to the forum.

It would be good to see what Krita’s tablet tester is saying about the pressure signal.

Go to Configure Krita > Tablet settings > Tablet tester is at the bottom.

Make a few strokes, varying the pressure, then post 10 or 12 lines of text in a reply here. You might want to switch brushes to Basic-5 Size as that one is pressure sensitive (not all are made to be so).

Importantly, when you reply, be sure to provide your system info like which operating system you’re on (Windows, Android, macOS, etc.) and the tablet make/model. Because you’re a new user here, you’ll be restricted as to how many replies you can make so try to include everything in a single reply if you can.
