Problem: toolbar saving

The toolbar don’t keep like how i saved it. Each time i start krita, i must drudge with that. It’s not way in for the 2.5.8 version. I just please for a real tip.

Can you share a screenshot of the window. Does the tool bar reset its position or size?

It might be this bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413533

It’s hard to reach the good link with the flood of words on the bugtracking page. Can you spot me a way to get through that snag? I’m an idler ,but if you hit with your tips ,i’ll grant your helping with pictures i drafted.

The screenshot i set out on that topic (just above) is missing on my portfolio and on the tag drafts. How to stuff my profil with?

Portfolio section will have images you shared in the #artwork category.

Follow the talk in that topic, tiar did not stick to my request ,and take no heed of my further e-mail, you can scan at the picture. Who’s the bug scuffer in the crew?

Are my private messages on krita-artists.org a bug tracker now? :stuck_out_tongue:

@julll you can do right-click on the attachment and choose “Open in new Tab” and you’ll see pictures. The only important thing is in comments, what exactly disappears (tools) and when (on restart of Krita). Is that what you’re experiencing?

I need to select one of the fix in a list that is like unending. Which one is to pick ?

Won’t you narrow my search?

I’m not really sure what you’re talking about… the link I shared have three comments and doesn’t contain any fix… 413533 – Tools disappear from toolbar after closing program

It seems to be that all tools that are added by python scripts cannot be added to the toolbar so that they stay after reopening Krita. I don’t think you can fix it on your end, you’d need to wait until developers fix this. Unless you want to code it yourself

The comments don’t field to an immediate solution (the talk is just flat). I need some key links to upgrade krita, like patches ,you know?

This needs to be fixed by a developer. It’s not fixed yet, patches don’t exist yet. It will be fixed in the future.

It’s like hopeless ! You have a developer under your hand able to go through that bug?

Yes, but there was a holiday season and developers are only slowly coming back to code.

Drop me some news just to keep accurate with krita (about that unreliable toolbar). It’s an hassle to key with a new software. Thanks for your care.

I noticed some similar thing. Any tool from “Toolbox” is disappeared in “Toolbar” after restart.

Krita version is 4.4.1 and 4.4.2 beta 2
