Problems drawing on the canvas! :(

Description of the issue:

I’m trying to draw on the canvas, but when i do my pen will draw roughly five inches from where my pen is set down. I’ve re-calibrated my screen, messed around in my tablet settings but nothing is working. What made me realize this is a program issue is that everywhere outside the canvas area my pen is just fine. I’ve restarted my laptop and it helped for a little, but then I’ll go to work and come home and its all broken again!

I adore this program and I don’t want to search for a new one just yet, it’s hard to find a good free program that has animation features!!!

This was asked so many times and solved. When you use the forum search you probably can find a solution like this one for example

Some tablet drivers allow (and even require) to create profiles for different applications. For example maybe you want to have different button mappings or shortcuts for different applications. The Wacom configuration manager allows this too. Btw the Problem you are facing is not exklusive to Krita, it happens in Photoshop too. Perhaps you have to disable/enable windows Ink in the tablet settings too, as shown in the blog I linked. It needs to match the setting in Krita.

This is about Wacom but often the solution are the same for either brand.
