My problem with Android and its support is that I haven’t owned any Android hardware for years, so I can’t even begin to test anything.
On top of that, since the advent of Android OS add-ons like your HyperOS or OneUI and all the other garbage that scales Google’s OS sin into a mega-catastrophe, now even more “rulers” want to co-govern the respective hardware in order to funnel more money into their developers’ coffers.
Honestly, even though Android itself isn’t really that great, it would be much better if the Android hardware providers who graft these system add-ons onto Android would return to pure Android, the same for everyone. Although only a feeling, I’m pretty sure that this would eliminate much of the increasingly frequent incompatibilities, because only the really big software companies can afford to optimize their programs to flawlessly work on each of these add-ons. Unfortunately, this is unlikely to happen, at least not until users start to avoid the Android platform as a result and Google bans these OS add-ons in order to regain lost market share.
