Process tutorials for my style

Hi guys, I am new to digital art. I am using a Xp-pen 16" pro tablet and connecting it to my laptop. After 1 week using photoshop I have changed to Krita, which is much better for me.

  1. I’m interested in learning ‘process’…so far i’ve figured out do underdrawing, then block colour (which i do by hand), then details. But I’m very inefficient, and I’m wondering about the order of doing what…textures, details, highlights, shadows etc. to make it faster. To make it harder for me I’ve never studied drawing, so I don’t know how the pros do it on paper either, and I’ve 90% done my art in 2B pencil only, so colour is also a mystery for me!

Hi @Plastics - Welcome to the community.

Here is one of my favourite tutorials. This one is by David Revoy and gives a full view of making illustrations on Krita, including setup. I keep this one bookmarked and find myself referring to it every few months.
