is there any tutorial for all Krita manual
I watched 100 tutorial for krita from
GDQuest (learn krita from zero)
David Revoy
krita official channel on YouTube
and Plan to watch more video tutorials
from
Age of Asparagus channel
Blade & Quill channel
JVMIYO channel
kdsketch channel
Ed Tadeo channel
and more
But hear me whenever I encountered a problem I find in krita manual
The videos are not comprehensive, for everything, but rather focused on some things only
The only thing that meets my needs and everyone’s needs, even when asking questions in the community, is krita manual
But because English is not my native language, and for many
And learners of the English language find it easier to listen than to read, as listening is stronger for them than reading and it takes less effort.
And because the visual explanation helps in the video to understand the process and the required part Even if you don’t understand every English word in the video
So I proposed a conversion project all (krita manual) to tutorials on official krita YouTube channel
And because this takes a lot of effort to include everything,
I suggest using help from artists on YouTube, especially those who have channels like the ones I mentioned.
to make its parts
But adhere to what is mentioned in the manual
Their job is to paraphrase a specific part of the manual in the form of an tutorial video
Regarding the manual: You might know this already but the manual is available in a number of languages. I was wondering if you had noticed the dropdown menu at the top left where you can change the language.
PS I moved your topic into the feature request area as you are making a request.
Yes, I noticed, unfortunately, it is not available in my Arabic language. I also mentioned that this is not the only reason, and the problem with the language is that most or all educational videos are explained in English, whether in krita or other software , if you want to repeat the steps From another program in Krita also explanations on the English version of all programs. My suggestion because it is readable content, explains a program that deals with visual content, and in addition to the ease of memorizing and repeating what you see, not what you read, in addition to the fact that the translations are not very useful, as I mentioned, and I am with the conversion of all educational content To visual content, even modern books contain QR code to YouTube video or some videos tutorial
Since this is a feature request you can vote for it, as can others. Gaining votes doesn’t mean the project will happen, but it does serve as an indication of interest.
Is this a project you would like to take on? A lot of what happens with Krita is done by volunteers.
I love to do that, but unfortunately I do not think that I have enough experience in art and Krita manual , but I noticed that those who explained Krita have 6-7 years of experience dealing with the program. And because they may be busy and this is a big project, so I suggested dividing the work between them. I noticed that some of them are specialized in a specific department, some are interested in explaining brushes, some in vectors and backgrounds, animation, and some in games. Their specializations will be useful for explaining Certain parts of the manual
I see. I don’t have the expertise either. Why not reach out to those creators and ask if they’re interested? Mind, the manual changes all the time so any video produced on the manual would have quite a short useful shelf life.
