Hello!
I was playing around with the brush settings in krita to try and recreate this Clip Studio Paint brush since I find it very satisfying for sketching and inking alike: https://assets.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail?id=1892332 . I wasn’t able to find any brush behaving similar to this in this tag yet, but feel free to correct me.
I don’t think it’s a 1 to 1 recreation, but I tried my best.
A few things I feel I need to disclose before you download, please read carefully!
- This brush is not my idea, all credits go to Qamala, this is just a recreation attempt
- I draw on a Wacom Cintiq 16 with pen pressure set to the softest setting, so feel free to play around with the pressure curves in: Size, Opacity and Flow if the feel is unsatisfactory
- If you use an A4 Canvas, it’s best to use a 20px size minimum, any lower and it’s too thin for it’s intended purpose. I was mostly testing it at 30px size.
- This brush tries to behave in a way where if you draw fast with light pressure, it’s thin ad light, and when you draw slow with harder pressure, it’s thick and dark, but I don’t think I recreated it well, so any input on improvement is more than welcome!

- Very quick attempt at demonstration:
+1 tip:
- If you are lazy to ink over (like me), and just want a quick and dirty way to clean a sketch up, then you can do a sketch with light-ish pressure, then duplicate and merge to have a darker color, example picture below (only this brush was used). This gives more of the impression of a graphic marker:
Please let me know if any issues arise and I’ll try my best to help! ![]()
