Hello everyone!
Love using Krita but there is this little something that has been bothering me for quite a long while. And that would be the bounding box for Transform (this one especially), Move, Select Shapes and such tools, not the existence of one as it would be impossible to make adjustments without them, but the fact that it covers portions of the selection being transformed/moved when I do fine adjustments and then try to zoom out to see the whole image or see result from different angle. It would be nice to have a way to see seamless result before applying change.
My request is to temporarily hide the bounding box (including all handles/points and anchor points) while holding down the Canvas Input modifier key for Pan, Zoom or Rotate (Space for Pan, Space + Ctrl for Zoom or Space + Ctrl + Alt for Rotate) and return them upon modifier release. This could be implemented either as an optional feature (in case there are those that prefer it as is) or as a default feature. It would give us a way to greatly improve visibility of transformation/positioning result before applying it.
It is a default feature in other programs such as Affinity Photo/Designer, CSP and many other and I find it super helpful there, no matter if I’m working with raster painting/images or moving/adjusting vector shapes etc.
Now, I know there already is a decrease in transformation box opacity while moving/adjusting the box in Transform Tool however this is still not a fully seamless result and even then the tool icon covers a portion of result and you cannot leave it as is then check result from different angles/zoom level without bounding box and its handles popping back up at full opacity.
Thank you for your time reading!
