@tiar Hi, since this post was created, I have been using the “Create from Template” feature; and now, the Recorder is saving the recordings to the folder of the image that the template was created from rather than creating new folders, causing the same issue again. Is there a way to remedy this?
Thank you for your time.
System Information
KDE Plasma 5.27.4 on Ubuntu 23.04 “Lunar Lobster”
Krita (5.2.0-prealpha-9d951aebed)
I am not using the latest nightly since Pigment.O does not work
Its usually recommended that you make a new topic since this is one is a bit old so people may not see your comment.
I think that issue is already fixed in the krita code and will probably be in the 5.2 release (unknown when that would be). If you want to try it now you can download the latest Krita Next from the website and it should be fixed there.
Thank you for your response. I am unable to use the latest Krita Next due to a bug with Pigment.O that causes it to not open. Is there a way to remedy this as well?
I see, thank you for explaining. Should I make another topic since the reason why I am unable to use the latest version to check if the Recorder docker is behaving correctly is due to the bug that I mentioned? I wasn’t sure if I should create a new topic since I commented about it in the Pigment.O topic, and I was told it was a known bug, but I wasn’t sure if it was a bug on Krita’s side rather than the plugin since it is only affected in newer versions of Krita.
Yes, it’s best to stick with one single issue per topic. Notice that the topic title is very specific. I even added Linux as an identifier so people with macs or Android will know this may not apply to them. This also helps the right people pick out topics they can help with (if they only have a few minutes to volunteer, this is crucial).
If I have this right, your question is about getting the recorder to choose a folder other than the template folder. Any further posts in this thread should stick to that issue.
You can do a search using the search tool (upper right) to see if there is a thread for your Pigment-O question. If there is no active thread, then you can create one.
