Hello, during working in Krita, i had the infamous Blue Screen of Death. Everything is working fine now, but I lost all my gradient maps settings. Is there any way to recover them?
If it happened while you were using krita and not closed properly because of it, I don’t think you have any option for that sorry. The application needs to be closed properly at least once.
Hello @Osken, and welcome to the forum!
Since the term gradient map is sometimes used synonymously with the term gradient, I’m not sure if it’s not “just” the gradients that have “disappeared”? Likewise, the term could have been translated wrongly.
@Osken, are you possibly talking about the gradients that can be called up via the toolbar of Krita? Because at least the original ones can be restored if something has been damaged or deleted. And if only the database is corrupted, then you can restore all gradients.

@EyeOdin
It happened while I was using krita but all the settings was made in previous works and saved.
@Michelist
What I meant was the settings from this function
I was unsure about that, because some mix these terms up.

If they were saved previously they should be on you user folder inside the gradient folder hopefully.
If it would is there but not working you can try and open them with a text editor and try and fix them. By like copy pasting the values into one that works.
Thanks for the help ! I found it
and what was the solution? no one will ever know…
