My D&D character Moira, the totallynotavampire bard.
I’ve been working on it for days, I think it’s time to call it done and not worry about all the glaring issues I’ll see in it tomorrow haha
Does anyone else feel like their art is never finished no matter how long you work on it?
Omg, I actually never thought of it. It’s been years since I played it so I might’ve done that unconsciously, your comment really got me confused for a sec hahaha
Fantastic work! That can tough with that angle but I think you pulled it off really well. I heard a person once say a piece of art is never really finished but abandoned. It’s honestly a instinct to know when to stop working on a piece before you overwork it. That’s just something I think you get over time the more work you do. Nice work again!
It is stunning, I visited your art station, impressive on human_oid design. I really like it. we also can see the amount of progess made accross the post. it is pro now.
@anarquero Thank you! @junkbrush Thanks! I used a reference for the first time in a while, I still struggle with dynamic poses and perspectives from imagination. In my case letting go of the piece is less of an instinct and more me being tired of looking at the thing haha @Bertrand_Constanty I kind of abandoned my artstation when it started overflow with ai But thank you I really appreciate it.
The only thing that might help is having the ground a different tone to help the figure not get lost in it, however, that could be exactly the way you wanted. Move on to the next.
@YRH Thanks! @djwaterman Yeah, I wanted the focus to be on the top of the body so I don’t mind that the lower part of the picture is less noticeable. And don’t worry, I have a personal rule that once I post a picture, I don’t touch it anymore even if I see something off, otherwise I would never stop fixing it haha
