hello! i’ve recently picked up krita again, also new to the forums, and i’m currently trying to replicate this brush, which roughly translated to “chopstick brush”, picture of an example provided: [RaRq5WUZAI] it has an anti-aliased, rough texture to it, and it’s been my go to brush for both line…

What if you turned the Flow of the brush down a bit? (not too much though) You can also play with the Texture settings (brightness/contrast).

adjusting the flow doesn’t seem to do anything, not sure why i ended up doing some finer control with changing the size based on speed, and also adjusting the sharpness adding a texture would ruin the anti-aliasing on it, which i don’t want to do current status…it isn’t a perfect replica still, b…

Try the “Enclose and fill”-Tool direct beside the bucket. It is not perfect, but at least a step forward. Michelist

I think that won’t help because it uses the same floodfill algorithm as the fill tool, so no gap closing either. The gaps would have to be closed manually I’m affraid.

That is sad. I had hoped, a close selection may be able to deal with this issue, but you made this feature, so I guess you know it far better than me. Michelist
