Resize lag

Type of device* : Wacom
Brand and version of the device: Wacom Intuos CTL-472
System** : Windows 11

Description of the issue:

Right after resetting my krita settings yesterday (I didn’t make any changes yet), this error suddenly appeared when it’s never happened once before I resetted krita settings. Basically everytime I resize a layer, it lags and has random squares of the originally placed layer covering the canvas… I’ve tried resetting my settings again and even reinstalling the app but it’s still there. My krita version number is 5.2.16 btw. please help this is frustrating as someone who resizes parts of their drawing a lot

anyways i put the proof in a link because I’m still not allowed to put attachments: recordings of the bug

Please help. Thanks

 Hello @Aurelie_Kei_Azzahra, and welcome to the forum!

Without being sure if that is the issue, can you please try to do the following: In Krita, under Settings > Configure Krita > Tablet Settings you have to select the not selected option from Windows 8+ Pointer Input (Windows Ink) or WinTab, then confirm that setting with the OK-Button in the lower right corner of that dialog and restart Krita.

If it fixes your issue be happy, but if it does nothing, or you should then have issues with your stylus, perhaps with pressure or reaction, you can simply repeat this and go back to the former used setting. And do not forget to confirm it again with the OK-Button in the lower right corner of that dialog and restart Krita.

oookay so your first solution didn’t work but I tried editing my settings like you told me to and turns out changing my scaling mode to nearest neighbour immediately fixed it lol :’D ty!!

In principle the solution was found by yourself, so I feel falsely honored for this tag.
