So I was wondering it is feasible to be able to make your own premade format so that you can reuse it when you go to start a new project so you don’t have to remake each window and adjust their size each time for real-time mirroring and/or reference windows.

There’s a plugin that does this which you may be interested in: https://krita-artists.org/t/krita-split-panes-and-other-tweaks/
You will have to use Tabs instead of Subwindows to make this plugin work but you can save layouts and reorder them flexibly similar to subwindows.
