so this is probably a pretty dumb question, but whatever. ibis paint (and i believe pretty much any other editing/drawing program i’ve used, at least) has this tool that allows to adjust colors by using these three simple rgb sliders. i’ve looked through the entire filters list on krita, but still couldnt find this specific one. i guess the curves adjustment effect is the closest one to what im looking for, but it seems odd to me that despite having so many awesome features and stuff, krita lacks this one! could anybody suggest what would be the best filter to use to obtain the same effect/adjust the colors the same way? thank you so much (":
(i apologize for my bad english, hope this makes any sense at all)
It is not a filter, but I’d like to suggest the specific colour selector. You can find it by going Settings → Dockers → Specific Color Selector and it looks like this:
hi, thank you for your suggestion. would this allow me to only pick the color before using it or would i be able to adjust the values also after having already applied the color?
hi, thanks for replying. im guessing what you suggested is sort of an advanced version of what i was looking for, having three sliders for shadows, midtones and highlights separately
Only before using it! I don’t think there’s any tool that will let you change a colour after you’ve painted with it, you’d need to select it first (“select by color” tool) and then paint over it with your new colour.
