Wow, only 30 minutes, I like the execution of the “laminar flow area” (No way, I could do one that fast, I’m still getting used to a screen tablet and stylus vs. gesso on board or canvas, oil paints and brushes…no turpentine is nice change ha)

For 30 mins that’s excellent I can really see the brightness of the day and where the sun shines

Uh oh. I didn’t realize I may be posting too often. I am retired and love digital painting, so I do it almost every day. I love seeing everyone else’s work and corresponding with fellow artists. But I certainly don’t want anyone to think I’m being pretentious. I’ll definitely cut back and allow others to shine.

@Elixiah I, for one, enjoy seeing your paintings and hope to see many more in the future.
They let me see the variety of what is possible, even if I’m not capable of that level of skill myself. They give me reassurance that it would be possible for me if I’d only get off my backside and do some serious study and practice.
I might do that one day and if I do then it will be thanks to you and the many other wonderful and varied artists on this forum.

I have a similar water body near my house. I will be travelling this week but I would surely visit it and paint when I am back in town. I love the way you painted the atmosphere with simple strokes and colours. Thanks for sharing.

You’re not being pretentious! I love seeing your art! I’m no where near as good as you, but seeing the artwork you create always inspires me to improve my art. So, please don’t feel like you have to stop post as often! :kiki_love:

Hey everyone… I promise I’m not an overly sensitive person! @CadillacRancher meant no harm at all. I just misunderstood! Thanks to all of you for your compliments and camaraderie.
