Hi! I just received a Galaxy Tab 9 SE and the S-Pen that comes with it, and wanted to try using it as a drawing tablet using the second screen feature. However, I noticed that the brush lagged behind the S-Pen when I tried drawing, something it doesn’t do with the mouse curser (brush smoothing is set to none). Has anybody else had this issue, and is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks!
Hello @Stocking_Miami, and welcome to the forum!
I’m not an Android expert, so I’m not sure what you mean by this second screen, but it sounds like you’re connecting your Galaxy to another computer to paint with it, which degrades it to a simple screen tablet/pen display. If that’s the case, why not install Krita for Android from the Play Store on your Galaxy Tab and use it directly on Android? If I remember correctly, the Galaxy Tab is a powerful device and should not experience any lag with the S-Pen.
Or are you dependent on plugins/fonts that Krita for Android cannot use? Or do you want to create animations with Krita? In the latter case, and provided you really do have another computer running macOS, Linux, or Windows, you could create the animation on your Galaxy Tab and then render it on your PC.

Hi! Yea, unfortunely I do prefer the desktop version of Krita, as the keybinds do help a lot. I did a little digging and this lag is just because of Android’s second screen feature not Krita, which does seem to have been noted to be laggy. I just need to use a better program. Thank you!
