Samsung S8 Ultra s pen not working with Krita's Android app

Description of the issue (you can include screenshots): My S Pen doesn’t register on the canvas on Krita’s Android app. I am transitioning to digital art (not extremely technical minded), so I purchased the ultra. I have worked digitally before and was able to figure it out previously but I’m unsure of the app version. I know it’s likely a setting issue but I’m unsure of which to toggle. I did Google stylus issues and tried a few setting changes. Sadly, the S Pen still doesn’t work on the canvas. Any tips or if additional downloads are needed? Thank you!!

You can try installing the Krita Next app from this link, it will install alongside the original app, it’s an early 5.1 build with gestures already implemented (two fingers tap to undo, three finger tap to redo, etc) see if it works in this version.
